​A child with any medical condition needs a very strong support system to flourish and grow. In case of school going kids with T1D, if their teachers and friends are not aware about the symptoms, it becomes very difficult to manage the complications. Moreover, with lot of stigma and fear in the society about diabetes, seemingly simple tasks like taking a break to administer insulin, to take snacks or going to the washroom frequently also becomes overwhelming for the kids.  DTour campaign by diabesties gives me a hope that together we can create awareness about diabetes in a way that no kid will have to seek acceptance from his/her friends for being different, just for being diabetic.

Education awareness and community engagement is the key solution for any conndituon in life . D tour brings them together . Type 1 is teaching about type 1 to difffrnt schools student about how to live with diabetes and how to treat the patient with love . It’s wonderful initiative take by team Diabesteties and awareness is most important parameter  which D tour is touching in unique way and trying to resolve global education issue of TD1 Three cheers ich is so rare to find.”
